This custom Zuko-inspired fantasy knife is a handcrafted piece designed to blend iconic character inspiration with real-world craftsmanship and functionality.
The blade measures approximately 10 inches, with an overall length of up to 18 inches, proportioned to match the original design aesthetic. It can be crafted either from stainless steel (12% chromium) for corrosion resistance or 1095 high carbon steel for traditional durability and edge performance. The blade features acid or mechanical etching, enhancing the visual detail and giving it a distinctive, character-inspired finish.
The handle is designed with a polished black pearl–style appearance using resin or similar material, giving it a smooth, refined look. It is complemented with rosewood and dyed red wood elements to reflect the fiery theme associated with the character design. Optional brass accents can be incorporated for added contrast and detail.
